CellTrek ExplorerA desktop wireless POS terminal that has a mag swipe reader, thermal printer and PIN pad integrated into one device. It has the ability to process transactions either via a dial line wirelessly over the Cingular® Interactive Wireless Network.SM . The CellTrek Explorer makes it easy for any merchant to accept credit cards at sporting events, concerts, fairs and festivals, conventions and trade shows, holiday sales, and special promotions and sidewalk sales. The CellTrek Explorer also provides the terminal solution of choice for concession stands, and mall kiosks and push carts, as well as providing benefits to restaurants and drinking establishments, retail merchants, historic structures, and parking garages and lots. The CellTrek Explorer gives any merchant the ability to take a credit card transaction anywhere. The Cingular® Interactive operates its wireless data service throughout the United States, covering more than 93 percent of the urban business population located in 492 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) and non-MSAs with a total population of 200 million people. Battery operated, the CellTrek Explorer does not need a power source. There is the ability to upgrade the antenna, if desired, by unscrewing and replacing with a RadioShack® 3db-gain antenna (Part No. 17-318).
